ELBA CITY SCHOOLS ESTABLISHES 21st Century Community Learning Center

Elba City Schools has received a grant to fund a 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) extended-day program.  The Center will begin operating in November, and programs will be held daily from 3:00 - 5:15.  Programs provided at the Center are both academic and extracurricular.  Enrichment programs may include basketball fundamentals, "cheer"nastics, karate, computer publishing, and Spanish.  A 21st CCLC and AMSTI  celebration night for families will be held on October 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the elementary school lunchroom.   A wealth of information will be presented then, and parents may complete student registration for the 21st CCLC programs.
